Corporate Social Responsibility

Green Cities has had series of support to youth organizations in Monrovia. Under the Urban Youth Recycling project, we were able to trained and empower 100 young people from five slum community(West Point, Doe Community, New Kru Town, Slipway, and Redslight) We have worked with the following youth organization and still working with them. Concern Youth (Red light Paynesville), West Point Youth Development Association (West Point) Foundation for Peace Building and Democracy (Doe Community, Youth for Progress(Slipway) and Borough Youth Recycling Initiative(New Kru Town).

With support from Cooperaxion, key partners to Green Cities Inc. we are able to quickly work with young people in fighting Ebola Virus Disease during the first outbreak. This brought together youths and women who were trained and given materials to go back to their communities to help spread the prevention method message.

With Support from the US Embassy-Monrovia, we were able to work with youths from the same five communities in fighting the Ebola Virus Disease. We distributes Ebola prevention cans to 1000 motorcyclists and supported 75 volunteers in community outreach in public awareness on Ebola Virus Disease prevention. We also distributed Bleach, Buckets, and Detergents to eight schools in slum communities in the fight against Ebola Disease.
